Deposit & Cancellation Policy:
Reservations are held with the amount of half your rental value (50%).
Please note:
of this amount...half (or 25% of the total bill) is automatically applied as a booking fee and is non-refundable from the point of booking while the remainder of the deposit (the other 25% of your total bill) is refundable for cancellations received in a timely manner. That is: notice in the amount of three times the number of days booked is required in order to receive a refund on your remaining deposit.
Please note further:
For stays not cancelled at least 48 hrs prior to check in, as well as for guests who "no show"....guest is held "fully" responsible for all days reserved. In the event that the room be re-sold all monies, minus the full deposit due, will be refunded to the guest.
And further to that:
That said, if you can't make it for your preferred dates, all deposits maybe used towards your "own" future stay within the calendar year folks. (Non-transferable). We just know you are going to love The Island and Dreams To Sea so soon as you get the chance, won't you come see us.
Final note:
A credit card is necessary for all bookings to be confirmed. We do happily welcome deposits by postal money order and cheque as well. Please call.
Pets Stay Policy:
$15 per day or $60 per week.
As for a pets policy here at Dreams To Sea, we neither really have nor don't have one.
Your four legged family members are welcome with us here at Dreams To Sea. It goes without saying that folks traveling with their pets, must be fully responsible for any incidents that may occur while they stay with us and must absolutely clean up after their pet. We ask, simply, that the family be respectful of other guests who may be staying with us at the same time by keeping pets on a leash at all times in common area and when outside. As well , pets must never be left alone in your cottage....whether it be during your day-to-day sightseeing trips or your evening outings, you must take your pet with you at all times. Finally, since we have so many folks who request allergen-free accommodations, we have made it a policy that when our 2 or 4-legged guests, whether furry, hairy or feathered, have checked out, t we do an absolute and even more thorough ceiling to floor sanitizing of the cottage including the use of an air purification system for 7 to 10 hrs...a process which takes added time and cleaning supplies beyond the normal cottage cleaning agenda. For this reason the add'l pet charge is slightly more than the add'l family member charge. ($15/ night regardless of # of pets or type of pet vs $10 per person per night).
Please note this is NOT a "per pet/per night" charge but is just a "per night" charge...it is based on the number or nights only, not the number of pets in your family.
Check-in and Check-out times:

At Dreams To Sea we do not hold a strict check-in and check-out time as do most accomodation businesses. We just aim to keep our reservation schedule smoothly flowing so that we can be ready for each guest as they arrive. Earlier or extended check in /out times are entertained whenever possible folks. Please dont hesitate to inquire.

Please note rates are one way and are based on 1-2 persons. Add'l person charges do apply to a maximum of 4 passengers...for larger groups please call for rates.
Laundry n Linens:
At Dreams To Sea your housekeeping cottage is fully stocked with all your bed linens and kitchen linens. Bath linens are stocked in accordance with the number of folks coming to stay. We do happily provide a complimentary towel laundering service upon request. We also have cots/bunks available for your use should you need one. This is based on a first come first serve basis.
The main building is home to both a Do-it-yourself laundry room and to a guest laundry service. Guests are welcome to laundry room use (soaps available at an additional cost) or while you are off at the beach or out exploring, we are only too happy if you'll let us take care of those little everyday things for you with our in-house laundry service. DIY and In-house Laundry Charges apply.

*** At Dreams To Sea we have various services and amenities, such as gourmet coffee service, movie rentals and bicycle rentals, and sooo on, available for our guests to enjoy. We welcome all folks who wish to use these services and amentities to drop by the office. These services are available for all to enjoy if they like.
When we first offered these services we had suggested rates for each with all monies going to Children's Wish Foundation. Due to feedback we have now decided not to suggest costs for these services
however
we do ask that while enjoying these added extras a donation of any amount is greatly appreciated.
And
any or all monies collected
whether great or greater, small or smaller folks (after all every penny helps) are more than welcomed folks
and
will be donated on your behalf to the Children's Wish Foundation
as we join in the
annual WishMakers Parade in the autumn.
